Job Description

Customer Service Specialist (Retail)

Fixed-term parental leave cover (April 2026 – January 2027) with potential for extension or longer-term opportunity.

Customer Ordering

  • Process Retail Sales Orders as required
  • Ensure customer orders are fulfilled and delivered according to required time frames
  • Ensure system accuracy of customer orders including assignment of rejection reason codes

Customer Service

  • Respond to and investigate customer queries in relation to short orders, late deliveries, lost orders or incorrect deliveries, ensuring that they are dealt with in a professional and timely manner
  • Escalate to the Customer Service Manager any serious or complex customer complaints requiring management intervention or involvement
  • All incidents logged, managed and resolved via the Incident Log

Master Data

  • Manage Master Data set up and change process with 3PL warehousing partner and 3PL Transport partners.

Supply Chain Support

  • Maintain regular contact and build relationships with Key stakeholders, focusing on inventory availability and escalate any issues as required
  • Collaborate with planning team to ensure allocated supply is adhered to and escalate any inventory issues to Planning Manager.
  • Manage Order related KPIs with 3PL warehousing partner and 3PL transport partners.

For this role as the Customer Service Specialist (Retail) we’re looking for someone who has the following skills and experience:

  • Order management experience and / or Customer Service experience.
  • Attention to detail and able to focus on and work to a deadline.
  • Ability to build successful working relationships.
  • High level of written & verbal communication
  • Self-Starter & continuous improvement mindset
  • Team player but able to work unsupervised.
  • SAP experience would be helpful for the role
